Well, I made it through Day 1 with flying colors! I was on a dieting high, feeling already skinnier from my 3 healthy meals. And then I woke up to Day 2.
Actually breakfast wasn't hard, but then I had to leave the house. For some reason, it is like my brain and stomach are wired so that whenever I get into my car, it drives me straight to the nearest fast food place. I hardly even crave it otherwise, but as soon as I'm out and about, I want a freaking combo meal STAT.
Today I was taking my little Amelia to see Nana (my grandmother). I will have you know that any other visit to Nana's usually involves a pit stop at the COOK-OUT (place with ahh-mazing milkshakes and burgers) to take lunch to her house to eat. Today I thought about taking a different route to get to her house to avoid Cook-Out, but then Amelia got a little fussy and I caved to the quickest route possible. I had to drive right past it, and though I made have drooled on my own shirt, I made it to Nana's sans any fast food.
Whew. I thought I was in the clear! Until Nana's first words were, "Oh, honey, that baby is beautiful! Have you eaten lunch? PawPaw is running up to Wendy's to get you something."
Crap! Another temptation. I was hungry (damn you for not planning ahead), so I caved into ordering a grilled chicken sandwich without any fries (totally forgot about the chili option).
Needless to say, I survived my first outing without any major damage to my 2nd day diet. Whoohoo!
Today is Friday, which is usually pizza and wine night at my house. I found a cute low-cal alternative and this blog that I wanted to try. I made pizza rolls using reduced fat crescent rolls, turkey pepperoni, and low-fat string cheese. They turned out great, and I was able to stay within my Weight Watchers points for the day.
Well, I am off to sleep so I can be well rested to tackle all of temptations of the weekend.

Love this!!!!!!
